The Subaru Crosstrek a compact Subaru SUV model sold in the United States, has a 2.5-liter displacement that is even stronger than the currently available 2.0-liter model. It has become clear that the L model will be added to the lineup.
Subaru already offers a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine in vehicles including the Forester, Outback, and Legacy and it is this same powertrain the Crosstrek will receive. In its current form, it is good for 182 horsepower and 239 Nm – figures that will likely be retained for the Crosstrek.
Many American customers have complained about the lack of power in the 2.0-litre model, so a more powerful “Forester, Outback and Legacy” to solve this problem. It will be equipped with a 2.5L horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine model.
The specs to be worried about, the engine output is 182 horsepower and maximum torque of 239Nm, so it is a very big point to improve + 30 horsepower and + 42Nm compared to the 2.0L model.
It seems that the lineup will be in the upper grade of “Sport” and “Limited”, but it is unknown whether the transmission will be available in both 6-speed Manual and CVT.
The price range is not clear at this time, but we will probably see more details soon.
